Characteristics and gene mapping of the lesion mimic mutants (g452) Abstract uri icon

abstract

  • Plant lesion mimic mutants spontaneously form disease like spots on the leaves without significant environmental stress or mechanical damage and pathogen damage, which is similar to allergic reaction. It can improve the resistance of plants to pathogens and enhance plant disease resistance.

Related studies mainly focused on the gene mapping and cloning of various mutants, as well as the disease resistance and disease resistance mechanism of mutants. In this study, the mutant g452 in the near isogenic lines of common wheat Xinong 1376 and Lumai 23 was used as materials. The characteristics of spot like mutant g452 were studied by comparing with the agronomic characters, histochemical staining, reactive oxygen species content, scavenging enzyme activity and light dependence of another family g451, and the target gene was localized by BSA-seq technique. Genetic analysis showed that the gene was a single gene controlled by nucleus and located on 6D chromosome.
