- Emerald Crops Science, with the support of the Technology Strategy Board, has contracted the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB) to evaluate its OptiYeld crop nutrition recommendation system on carrots. The system that combines proprietary foliar feeds, bio-fertilizers and bio-stimulants applied in a programmed way that is tailored to the crop's different growth stages has produced significant yield increases in winter wheat, oil seed rape and potatoes.
